Flower of Art: Contentcensored

I love the flower, that is interesting idea what gets censored. However I feel that this is true.

You know what seem to be the double standard, when it come to erotic art we may come up with excuses that it is not art. One of the excuses about erotic art is its lust. Lust is not love and it is a primitive emotion and that is why its not art. OK then what about Horror? Horror is an aesthetics playing off of fear. Fear is perhaps more primitive, shallow, and primal than lust. H.P. Lovecraft argues that there is no emotion more primal and powerful than fear. Yet we can say it is art. And When it come to fear as primitive as it is. It is also complicated, we share some of the same fears like death, loneliness, pain, tyranny, the uncanny and the unknown and we all have our own individual fears. Some of it is about experiences or even the Shadow in us we do not want to face. One can say it is not different from other primal emotions as well. Fetsish people get are perhaps a complication in their past, like insecurity, abundance, suppression, and imprinting and some other physiological affect. So is it really not worth wile?

One thing to ask is if art is about us exploring our self then why is it we deny all the primitive things. These "primitive" aspect are part of the foundation of our psyche like the the id or the bottom of Maslow Hierarchy of Need. It is as if we rather place our self above the "beast" and see our self as transcendent, angelic, and above all animals. This is perhaps what I see in ideals of what is art in a puritanical society. However when you meditate and a fly goes in your moth, you will be going back the the bottom in Maslow Hierarchy of Needs as breathing comes way before self actualization in priorities. We can not lie to our self we are human and we need to see our self as a whole.
